Description
As a young man in his thirties Peter Riedel published a catalog titled "Rare And Interesting Plants." The catalog promoted the sale of nursery stock and increased his reputation as a plantsman in the community. Also at this time, many wealthy people were coming to Montecito and Peter was able to expand his landscaping career by designing and constructing the gardens of many Montecito estates.
