Keith Wilkes, King of Hearts : l. to r.: Maren Thompson, Tim Bottoms, Janice Murphy, Jeremy Kramer, Carlita Eubanks, Keith Wilkes, Jeanne Mitchell, Earl Pointer, Debbie Ford and Russ Carter. Keith (later Jamaal) Wilkes was crowned "king" and reigned over the prom. His hobbies were reading, music, and writing, and he planned to major in history or economics in college. His father Reverend L. Leander Wilkes came from Ventura to be pastor of the Second Baptist Church, bringing the family in 1969.
